Your prayers can powerfully impact the work of missionaries and their fields of service. In fact, missionaries say prayer is the most important action church members can do for them. The Missions Support Team provides prayer resources for each of the three special missions emphases observed by Arkansas Baptists. In addition, we encourage you to take advantage of the web links provided below for online prayer resources available to you and visit the web sites of the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board to find other resources available for children, students, and adults.
Weeks of Prayer Resources Promotional posters, prayer guides, offering envelopes, and other free materials are sent to each church by the Missions Support Team prior to the weeks of prayer. The quantity sent is based on reported worship attendance. To order additional copies of resources call or email

Missions giving through your local church Yes, giving to your local church budget is "missions giving" because your church has been called by God to serve as a local missions strategy center! Give generously to your local church and be part of reaching your community for Christ.
Your local association Your church is part of a local association of Baptist churches, and most likely gives a percentage of its undesignated receipts to the association. Your local associational missionary not only serves the local churches but helps your association start new churches.
Cooperative Program You and your church can touch the entire world through the Cooperative Program. Churches voluntarily give a percentage of their undesignated receipts through the Cooperative Program, which allows them to simultaneously support Arkansas Baptist State Convention missions, North American Mission Board missions, International Mission Board missions, and more.
For more information on the Cooperative Program, visit the CP Missions website. Missions Support Team members are available to teach your members about the Cooperative Program and how it works to support missions.
Special Missions Offerings Every year, Arkansas Baptists observe three special giving opportunities related to world missions:
•The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions •The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions •The Dixie Jackson Arkansas Missions Offering.
